We're excited to announce that Capsule has been named winner of the ESG: Sustainability Initiative of the Year at the British Insurance Awards 2025, held at the Royal Albert Hall.
The award, sponsored by iCAN, recognises organisations that are embedding environmental and social responsibility into the way they work.
Capsule was recognised for its ongoing commitment to sustainability across its operations, partnerships, and client support. The award was accepted by Victoria McDonnell, Marketing Director at Capsule, who represented the team at the ceremony. The event brought together more than 1,500 professionals from across the insurance sector and was hosted by comedian Katherine Ryan.
Speaking after the event, McDonnell said:
“We’re incredibly proud to have been recognised for our work in sustainability. This award is a testament to the passion and commitment of the entire Capsule team. It was an honour to accept it on their behalf in such a spectacular setting.”
Capsule’s approach to ESG is built into its day-to-day operations. From reducing its own environmental footprint to helping clients navigate their own sustainability goals, the company sees ESG not as a standalone initiative but as a core part of how it does business.
The British Insurance Awards, organised by Insurance Post, is one of the most prestigious industry awards events of the year and has been celebrating excellence, innovation, and leadership across the insurance industry for over 30 years. This year’s event highlighted a wide range of achievements, from digital transformation to community impact.
