Meet Caroline Knights - Our new People & Operations Director
With experience in fast-growing companies like innocent, BLOK, and Zoa, Caroline—“Caz” to most—is bringing her expertise to Capsule at a crucial time in our journey. She started her career at innocent, helping scale the company from 100 to 450 employees across 13 countries. Afterward, she held leadership roles at Bow & Arrow and worked as a fractional consultant, guiding startups on team-building and culture.
For Caz, Capsule was the perfect fit because of its alignment with our founders’ vision. She shares our belief that commercial success and a high-performing team go hand in hand, and a people-first culture is essential. Her goal is to create an environment where employees feel their work enhances their lives and to introduce processes that empower the team while preserving Capsule’s unique culture.

Meet David Wood - Our new Broking Director
With nearly four decades of experience in insurance, including roles at Marsh Commercial, Arthur J. Gallagher, and Ardonagh Advisory, David Wood leads Capsule’s broking team. His deep knowledge of Professional Indemnity and Financial Lines, along with his passion for innovation, made him the ideal fit.
David’s path to Capsule reignited his love for the industry after feeling disconnected from it. He found Capsule’s entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to action inspiring. He believes that in an evolving industry, staying agile while delivering excellent service is key. His focus for the first year is building a lasting foundation for the next generation of insurance innovators, passing on knowledge to ensure continuous growth.
